Sébastien (Basti) Schikora is an avid outdoors photographer with a special interest in all aspects of the natural environment – from landscapes to fauna.

Originally from Germany, Sébastien has lived in the United States since 1998. Currently living in California, Sébastien features the beautiful sceneries ranging from mountainous to coastal to desert areas in his photographs. His interests in backpacking and hiking have provided countless opportunities to explore and photograph the California Sierras, the deserts of the south, and the canyons of the Southwest.

Sébastien’s focus on highlighting natural element large and small is extended to photography taken from further traveled to places – from Hawaii and soon Alaska to Australia. The greatest fun for Sébastien has been in capturing both the new and the same subject matters in different versions of light and perspective.
